Pipeline is scary but beautiful. It involves so much risks but the reward is like nowhere or nothing else.
Who is the greatest Pipeline surfer of all time?
Kelly slater !!! He is my all time favorite when it comes down to Pipeline and Teahupo’o. It’s like he is part of the wave and dancing with it. He makes it look so easy and that’s why to my eyes he is the greatest
Who is the best surfer at Pipeline right now?
For the mens, I would go for local Johnjohn Florence and for the womens Moana Jones. They have put their time out there and deserves everyones respect for their ability to surf Pipeline that well.
What would a Vans Pipe Masters title mean to you?
Vans Pipe Master title, I fell very honored to be part of this iconic contest so top it off with a win, I don’t think i can even imagine what It would feel like until I would actually win it, I would have no words. When Pipeline chooses you, it seems like nothing can go wrong.
Is there an advantage to being a goofy or regular footer at Pipeline?
Being a goofy, I feel like we can knife the take off really well but at the same time it feels like the regular footers have more control on their take off. I feel like those kind of waves, the take off is the most important part, then it gets easier once you made it.
